Most customers in Bangladesh already pay with bKash or Nagad every day. Letting them do the same on your website removes the biggest reason people abandon an order: having to pay some other way.
What you need
- A merchant account with each provider you want to accept, or with a payment gateway that bundles several methods together.
- Trade licence and business details, which providers ask for during approval.
- A website or app that confirms payments properly — not just a screen that says “thank you”.
Confirm payments on the server
The most common mistake is trusting the customer’s browser to say a payment succeeded. A secure integration always checks the payment status with the provider before marking an order as paid. It also handles the awkward cases: the customer closes the window, the network drops, or a payment arrives twice.
Make reconciliation easy
Every payment should be linked to an order or invoice with the provider’s transaction ID. That way, when you compare your records with the wallet statement at the end of the month, everything lines up without guesswork.
Start with what customers use most
You do not need every method at once. Add the one or two your customers use most, make the checkout smooth on a phone, and expand later.
